Thought I’d recap my year of concerts before the year ends. I always say I’m gonna blog about them and never do. First I’m gonna finish writing all my halfway written blogs and then start recapping this years concerts with bits of whats on my mind here and there. As of yesterday I decided to go 30 days sober. I wouldn’t say I’m an alcoholic. I can be totally fine without alcohol… unless we’re at a party or bar or a club and then I feel like I need to start drinking. Then I have one drink and its game over. After that first drink I feel the need to continue drinking til I pass out which is horrible. I used not be like that but after living in what was pretty much a frat house and constantly hanging out with big time drinkers my tolerance has gone way up. So to fix my problem I’m going 30 days sober to reset and then after I’m gonna try to limit myself to 3 drinks a night when I go out… 5 MAX. Also, no drinking if we’re not going out. I don’t need to drink to hang out, unless its like a UFC fight or Football game, then the 3 drink rule applies.
+ New years is coming up and it definitely wont hurt to get in the best shape possible til then.
On a side note. I’m finally gonna put this website together I’ve been meaning to put together. I was gonna wait til I found a web developer but I’ve almost used it as an excuse not to do it. I was telling my brother about the idea because I’d like if he worked on it with me and he said why don’t you start off as a blog. Such a genius idea, I can’t believe I didn’t think of that. So with that being said, I’ve registered CherishTattoos@gmail.com, www.CherishTattoos.blogspot.com, http://www.youtube.com/cherishtattoos, and I’m working on securing www.facebook.com/CherishTattoos. Ah, Home Fitness.
Years ago I’d dabble in some Tae Bo and it was fun but I didn’t do it routinely. Although I’d get sore, because I wasn’t really committed I didn’t really see any results.
For the last year or so I’ve been doing P90X. At first I didn’t lose a ton of weight but I could tell my body was changing. My whole upper body got bigger. You could begin to see muscle outlines covered in fat instead of just fat. Around my birthday this year, I started eating properly, or tried to, and lost 18LBS. I’m not entirely sure this is a good thing though, I said at the beginning of the year I was going to lose weight and I didn’t start until eight months in. Then came October and I started eating out of control and stopped working out and gained 8Lbs back. Now I’m hopping back on the eating correctly train. I think I got kinda bored with P90X after doing it for over a year, so now I have a new game plan that’s four parts. I’m gonna do one round of the first three.
Part 1 – Insanity
Part 2 – P90X 2! By the time I’m done doing the 60 day thing with Insanity P90X Part 2 will be out and I’m definitely gonna want to try that.
Part 3 – Rushfit. It’s a GSP workout video lol, how do you not want to try it.
Part 4 – AKA
I’ve been wanting to train for a while now. It would just make sense to finally do it and since I wont be in the Bay Area much longer, why not take advantage of having AKA in my own backyard and train there for 6 months before moving to Nashville.

Girls Playing Drums :)
November is National Drum Month and I had no clue. Should I feel a little guilty as a drummer and not knowing that? haha. I only know it’s National Drum Month because AP Magazine had a little drum section where it featured different drummers from different bands.
While reading it I found out the drummer from The Summer Set was a girl! And not only that she was cute, so I looked her up on YouTube because I wanted to watch her play drums and found this. I think its hot when girls can play drums, especially hot ones .
Lately since I don’t have any drums to play I get off on watching people play drum covers. So one click lead to the next and I get to this video.
So hot! I mean, she’s cute I suppose, but what’s hot is she’s playing drums at her wedding and not only is she playing drums she’s 1. Playing with her husband and 2. Really good.
Eventually I ended up at this video.
After watching that I immediately fell in love. She can play drums + she’s blonde (if you know me, you know I’m gay for blondes) + she’s australian (if you know me, you know I want to do a semester abroad because im gay for australian accents). Obviously I clicked on her YouTube Channel and I ended up watching most of her vids and then I watched this.
After seeing that I was like WOW, this girl is really good… Marry Me?
P.S. While looking up these videos I found another girl worth noting.
I was like wait, she’s playing metal and using her double bass skills! NICE. Granted I’m not a huge LOG fan, she is playing my favorite LOG song. I don’t know which one girl is hotter, maybe we can all become mormon since they get to have multiple wives .

Started but never finished.
I started quite a few blogs but never finished them. I’m gonna try to upload as many as I can tonight. Some of them are slightly outdated like the Beavis and Butthead one. I wrote that when the news first came out back in July. I also never wrote up some of my LA experiences so we’ll see.

Courtney Cole
I’ve been watching CMT’s Next Superstar and have developed a little crush on Courtney Cole. She’s super adorable. I really thought she was gonna win it, I don’t even know if I want to watch the show anymore, now that she’s kicked off, lol, jp.
So she did a live chat thingy today, which was more like a comment on her pic and she’ll respond kinda thing and so I asked a question.. and got a response! lol. Today was a good day.
The crazzy thing about Courtney is she isn’t blonde but yet I’d still marry her? lol. That’s what I should have asked, “Will You Marry Me?”. There’s always next time, haha.

Goals for 2011 and beyond.
I started writing this in January and never finished it, lol.
So new goals for the next 3/4 of the year is to not procrastinate.
I’m super bad at that. I think that’s 1 of 2 of my most important things I need to improve on, the 2nd obviously being is my spending habit. I can’t save for the life of me and haven’t at all Q1, gotta gotta change that. It’s like I’m addicted to spending money. I once laughed at an episode of True Life and the subject was I’m A Compulsive Shopper and now I could see myself on that show. I blame it on all the money I was making at a younger age with real estate. I learned to spend big and then real estate crashed and I kept spending big without a big income lol and f’d myself…not gonna lie though, had a BLAST the whole time doing it
2010 was a f’d up year, I’m beyond happy its over with; 2011 is gonna be what 2010 should have been… and so far it has been. I’m very satisfied with 2011 in everyway.
As far as the rest of the year goes, here’s what I need to do. Finish my community service hours at Goodwill. Get a job, even if its somewhere shitty. I’m in college, I’m not really looking for a career job. I’m just looking for something to get me by and mostly because I want to start saving for Nashville.
I plan doing a summer session this year. Then obviously attend the fall session as far as college goes. I’m shooting for A’s but will settle for B’s. C’s aren’t allowed these next two sessions.
I got a Country Megaticket so I know for sure I’m going to the rest of the big country concerts this year except for T-Swift and Keith Urban. I’d like to attend EDC but I doubt that’s gonna happen.
Other than that, those are my main goals. Oh and hang out with friends and family as much as possible beings this will be my last year in the bay for at least 3 to 4 years because I’m moving to Nashville.
Goals for Beyond that. Move to Nashville. Go to Nashville State Community College. Transfer to Belmont University (the Dream). Graduate. Live the Dream. Oh and study abroad hopefully at least twice; for sure once in Australia and the other in France/Italy.

I remember back in the day, elementary school teachers would love to hate on Goosebumps and wouldn’t accept it as valid outside reading material but thanks to Goosebumps I am the avid reader that I am now. I actually read a lot, more than most. Even throughout high school; I may not have done well in English but I excelled in outside reading and I owe it all to R.L. Stine and Goosebumps for getting me to read and love it at a young age.

Day 99
That’s me at my heaviest, Christmas 2010. I’m not sure the exact weight but I know it was up there. I think I passed 240 at one point (244 maybe?, I honestly forget), as of yesterday I was 240. I think this girls face, I forget her name, best describes my current weight situation. For the record, she was doing that face because she thought I was hating on her haha, and I let her believe it cause I’m sure every guy she meets kisses her ass; so when she thought I was laughing at her while she was playing beer pong, I was like yeah, I was laughing at you lol, which lead to some playful banter the rest of the night. I’ve gotten waay out of hand. 20+L-B-S’s since I dated Melanie when I was in my early 20’s and probably around 35+ L-B-S’s since high school. I know I’ve said I’m gonna lose weight in the past but now I’m getting old, I’m running out of being young and I need to be in my best shape now, while I can still go out and party and meet young ladies
, plus I want to be in good shape when I eventually move to Nashville, Australia and Paris/Italy and that’s hopefully coming up within the next year or two. I’ve seen a few episodes of I used to be fat and I noticed they give themselves a hundred days to lose, give or take 100 L-B-S’s. I think I’m gonna try it, just go all out for 100 days and see what happens. I’m writing this on day 100 but when I post it, it will be day 99. If I do good, by summer this year, I’ll be in the best condition of my life. I don’t know about a 100 L-B-S’s, but I’m shooting for at least my high school weight of around 200.

Best News of 2011.. so far.
Not that I didn't like Myke Terry, but I just wasn't huge into the two BYD records with him on it.
Definitely excited to hear Mat Bruso back on vocals, heck I may even go out and see them live if he tours with them. Bruso is definitely one of my all time favorite front men. Bury Your F'n Dead!
