30 Day Song Challenge–Day 12

day 12 - a song from a band you hate.

I really try not to hate music. I find it a huge waste of time, everyone isn’t going to like everyone’s music. You’re gonna find music you don’t like, but why go so far as to hate something and put that energy into it. So I went through my iTunes and found nothing I hated. I was going to put a Limp Bizkit song up. I don’t hate Limp Bizkit but I think Fred Durst is a huge douche bag in real life and that makes me not want to like Limp Bizkit. That and Chocolate Starfish and The Hot Dog Flavored Water has to be, in my opinion, the worst album of all time. With that being said, I really like Three Dollar Bill Y’all

and used to love Significant Other.

So that eliminated Limp Bizkit. Then I got to thinking and it took me a while and finally I came up with ICP. I’ve always hated ICP and it takes a lot for me to go out of my way to hate musicians. I always thought the whole clown rappers thing was retarded. During the ICP vs Eminem feud, I obviously took Eminems side. It’s not like I haven’t tried listening to ICP, its just when I hear it, all I think is trailer park trash rappers, lol. Since then though, I actually have listened to a few interviews with Shaggy 2 Dope and Violent J and they changed my opinion about them. I actually found myself agreeing with a lot of stuff they said. They respond to hate well. With that I gained respect for them and totally don’t hate ICP, although its still fun to say I do… while looking for an ICP video, I found out that apparently they’re evangelical christians, I found myself a little shocked.
