30 days of blogs.

Thought I’d recap my year of concerts before the year ends. I always say I’m gonna blog about them and never do. First I’m gonna finish writing all my halfway written blogs and then start recapping this years concerts with bits of whats on my mind here and there. As of yesterday I decided to go 30 days sober. I wouldn’t say I’m an alcoholic. I can be totally fine without alcohol… unless we’re at a party or bar or a club and then I feel like I need to start drinking. Then I have one drink and its game over. After that first drink I feel the need to continue drinking til I pass out which is horrible. I used not be like that but after living in what was pretty much a frat house and constantly hanging out with big time drinkers my tolerance has gone way up. So to fix my problem I’m going 30 days sober to reset and then after I’m gonna try to limit myself to 3 drinks a night when I go out… 5 MAX. Also, no drinking if we’re not going out. I don’t need to drink to hang out, unless its like a UFC fight or Football game, then the 3 drink rule applies.
+ New years is coming up and it definitely wont hurt to get in the best shape possible til then.
On a side note. I’m finally gonna put this website together I’ve been meaning to put together. I was gonna wait til I found a web developer but I’ve almost used it as an excuse not to do it. I was telling my brother about the idea because I’d like if he worked on it with me and he said why don’t you start off as a blog. Such a genius idea, I can’t believe I didn’t think of that. So with that being said, I’ve registered CherishTattoos@gmail.com, www.CherishTattoos.blogspot.com, http://www.youtube.com/cherishtattoos, and I’m working on securing www.facebook.com/CherishTattoos. Something tells me I need to write some info before I get my fb url. Hopefully by Mid-December I’ll secure www.CherishTattoos.com What is this website?? You’ll see. Lets just say I was inspired by this German website http://www.pitcamproduction.de/behind-the-ink.html I spent forever watching a bunch of their videos cause I was so intrigued hearing about tattoos from bands I loved.

Ah, Home Fitness.

Years ago I’d dabble in some Tae Bo and it was fun but I didn’t do it routinely. Although I’d get sore, because I wasn’t really committed I didn’t really see any results.

For the last year or so I’ve been doing P90X. At first I didn’t lose a ton of weight but I could tell my body was changing. My whole upper body got bigger. You could begin to see muscle outlines covered in fat instead of just fat. Around my birthday this year, I started eating properly, or tried to, and lost 18LBS. I’m not entirely sure this is a good thing though, I said at the beginning of the year I was going to lose weight and I didn’t start until eight months in. Then came October and I started eating out of control and stopped working out and gained 8Lbs back. Now I’m hopping back on the eating correctly train. I think I got kinda bored with P90X after doing it for over a year, so now I have a new game plan that’s four parts. I’m gonna do one round of the first three.
Part 1 – Insanity

Part 2 – P90X 2! By the time I’m done doing the 60 day thing with Insanity P90X Part 2 will be out and I’m definitely gonna want to try that.

Part 3 – Rushfit. It’s a GSP workout video lol, how do you not want to try it.

Part 4 – AKA

I’ve been wanting to train for a while now. It would just make sense to finally do it and since I wont be in the Bay Area much longer, why not take advantage of having AKA in my own backyard and train there for 6 months before moving to Nashville.

Girls Playing Drums :)

November is National Drum Month and I had no clue. Should I feel a little guilty as a drummer and not knowing that? haha. I only know it’s National Drum Month because AP Magazine had a little drum section where it featured different drummers from different bands.

While reading it I found out the drummer from The Summer Set was a girl! And not only that she was cute, so I looked her up on YouTube because I wanted to watch her play drums and found this. I think its hot when girls can play drums, especially hot ones .

Lately since I don’t have any drums to play I get off on watching people play drum covers. So one click lead to the next and I get to this video.

So hot! I mean, she’s cute I suppose, but what’s hot is she’s playing drums at her wedding and not only is she playing drums she’s 1. Playing with her husband and 2. Really good.
Eventually I ended up at this video.

After watching that I immediately fell in love. She can play drums + she’s blonde (if you know me, you know I’m gay for blondes) + she’s australian (if you know me, you know I want to do a semester abroad because im gay for australian accents). Obviously I clicked on her YouTube Channel and I ended up watching most of her vids and then I watched this.

After seeing that I was like WOW, this girl is really good… Marry Me?
P.S. While looking up these videos I found another girl worth noting.

I was like wait, she’s playing metal and using her double bass skills! NICE. Granted I’m not a huge LOG fan, she is playing my favorite LOG song. I don’t know which one girl is hotter, maybe we can all become mormon since they get to have multiple wives .

I’ve always been a huge fan of stand up comedy. I used to go to tons of shows and then I just kinda stopped I’m loving this new show though. I hope it doesn’t get cancelled. Kinda reminds me of an old favorite TV show I used to watch,

Started but never finished.

I started quite a few blogs but never finished them. I’m gonna try to upload as many as I can tonight. Some of them are slightly outdated like the Beavis and Butthead one. I wrote that when the news first came out back in July. I also never wrote up some of my LA experiences so we’ll see.

New points system in NASCAR, Mat Bruso returning to Bury Your Dead and now Beavis and Butthead are coming back to MTV. This year is definitely the year I had hoped 2010 would be. I used to watch Beavis and Butthead all the time when I was younger, me and deadman Gary even dressed up as them one halloween.
